Dior Jewelry Collection Soie Dior

Dior introducing Joaillerie’s newest collection ‘Soie Dior,’ full of fanciful and sensual pieces designed by Victoire de Castellane.
Soie Dior – silk, that most couture of fabrics, whether as taffeta, charmeuse, organza, satin. The silk in this case is that of a ribbon, like a meandering hyphen weaving the links between couture and jewellery. Mainly it’s a ribbon with which Victoire de Castellane has fun, pleating it, rolling it, twisting it, unrolling it, contorting, turning and winding it. Each of the pieces in the new high jewellery collection is an haute couture creation in ornament form, a detail raised to the level of art by the Creative Director of Dior Jewellery. The parures Galon, Noué, Pli Plat, Gros Grain, Ganse, Froufrou, Smock, Volant, Fronce, Dénoué, Tresse and Plumetis also borrow the vocabulary of couture and adapt it to the language of high jewellery.
