The model Miranda Kerr looked to the house of Dior when it came to her wedding this past May.
Dior had the opportunity to dress the lovely Miranda Kerr for her wedding day, a light, vaporous creation inspired by the bride’s own dress, look at Dior Artistic Director’s concept for the gown and the unique savoir-faire employed in bringing Maria Grazia Chiuri’s vision to life.
Her dress, of the purest lines in silk mikado sprinkled with lily-of-the-valley embroideries, take overview of the different stages in the creation of the wedding dress specially designed for Miranda Kerr by Maria Grazia Chiuri and specially created in the haute couture ateliers at 30 Avenue Montaigne. It, in turn, served as the inspiration for her flower girl’s dress.
